Digital Projects Showcase: History of Hebrew Pulp Fiction Publishing

The existence of Hebrew pulp literature may be surprising to many in view of the history of this ancient language, typically associated with biblical and other sacred Jewish writings. Yet mystery, adventure, and romance fiction written in Modern Hebrew, as well as an avid readership, were thriving for some fifty years from the early 1930s until the end of the 1970s.
