Jessica Lawson is a veteran and a historian for the 944th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base. She graduated from SHPRS with her bachelor’s in history and a minor in religious studies. We asked her about her time here at ASU and why she chose Public History.

Manuel Cartagena is a high school history teacher in the Chandler Unified School District, sharing his passion for history. In 2012, he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in history (secondary education). More recently, he graduated from SHPRS with a master’s in history in 2018.

History alumnus and Dean’s Medal recipient Joshua Robinaugh moves into the medical field
Joshua Robinaugh was awarded the Dean’s Medal from the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies when he graduated the spring semester of 2021. While at SHPRS, he was a part of multiple honors societies and had participated in an undergraduate research experience with associate professor of history Hannah Barker.
